Ancient Healing for Modern Concerns

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have implemented enhanced infection control measures following CDC guidelines. Despite our careful disinfection with CDC approved cleaners according to CDC protocols, daily self- and patient-screening, use of UV air purifier, having a window open when tolerable, limiting of front desk use, and use of personal barriers, any time one goes out in public, there is the risk of being exposed to COVID-19. For those who would prefer not to be seen in-person, but could use support, virtual sessions are available.  They can include any of the following: acupressure, meditation, movement, essential oil application.  To receive treatment in-person, please familiarize yourself with the following new procedures:

  • Please bring and wear a surgical or cloth mask the entire time you are in the building. I will have extras if necessary.
  • Consider dressing in loose-fitting layers, and/or bring a cozy sweatshirt or sweater so that I can access points while you stay warm and covered.
  • When you arrive in the parking lot, please text me that you have arrived and confirm that you have a mask. Wait in your car until I text or tell you that I am ready for you.  If you do not have a mask, I will bring one to your car.
  • After you are buzzed into the building and enter the suite, please use the sanitizer from the front desk or wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds in the bathroom.
  • Please maintain a distance of 6 feet between you and others passing through the building and office where feasible.
  • Upon your arrival, I will take a temperature reading to confirm that it is in the normal range so that I am able to deliver a treatment.
  • Please only bring necessary companions to your treatment, and have him or her wait in a vehicle or, if needed, in the treatment room.
  • We will not be using the waiting area nor the public places in the building except to pass through them.
  • Payment will take place in the treatment room. If you pay by check, please have it written beforehand. If paying by card, please make it available in the beginning of our time in the treatment room so I can expedite a sanitary transaction.
  • We will begin our session with you on the treatment table and your appointment will last 45-50 minutes for a normal session, and 90 minutes for an initial one.
  • Please wash or sanitize your hands upon exiting the suite.
